The Riggs Family Comes To Town!

We had been waiting for this visit for so long. Brian's sister Christy, her husband Jeremy and their kids Hayden (9) and Carys (2), who live in Northern Idaho, were in town for a weeklong trip to DisneyWorld. They drove up so see us on Friday and finally these darling cousins could meet!

Scarlett and Carys are only 4 month apart, and just immediately hit it off. They played princesses, cooked some food on Scarlett's play-kitchen and had a blast on this funny little slide in our backyard.

They were so darling together, it just broke my heart that they don't get to see eachother very often.

They were cooperative enough to both say "cheese" for me, but neither of them would take their eyes away from Sleeping Beauty.

We had a little early-Birthday Party for Scarlett while they were here. They gave Scarlett the cutest little Cinderella dress and glass slippers.

As you can tell, Scarlett was beyond thrilled!!

"Thank you so much Aunt Christy!"

Christy also brought along Carys' own dress, a little Snow White!

And then they did somersaults!

Having Birthday cupcakes!

Hayden was such a good sport to play so nicely with the younger kids! He is so handsome, it's funny to think that I met Brian only 4 months before he was born! Deacon just idolized him and wanted to be with him every second. Oh! Where is Deacon you ask? Well, sadly, Deacon had a little upset tummy so he was laying on the couch. And Lucia, the best-damn-baby-ever-born was so entertained to watch everyone from Dad's arms.

We already miss them so much. I can't even tell you how I wish we lived closer but just really cherish every visit we can get! Love you Riggs Family!!!

I'm so glad you posted some new pictures! Not that I didn't like the iguana one... Those little girls are so darling in their dresses. Scarlett looks so pleased! What fun. I think Deacon probably had a tummy ache because of the princess extravaganza. Mike gets sick everytime shopping is mentioned. Love you guys tons--Shana

Those are all really cute pictures, but my favorite is the one when the girls are watching TV. So stinking funny!
