Two-a-days may have only just begun, but Deacon and Scarlett are already missing their dad so much. Many a morning has Deacon woke up saying
"Ohhh, Dad at work AGAIN?"
Little does he know his dad has been at work since 4:30 am!
Last night after dinner, Deacon put together this little presentation for Brian and left it on his nightstand. He came to me asking for all the items and then put it together himself. Then, he and Scarlett wrote some "notes" to Brian.
(Half a glass of water, one corn muffin, one mini pretzel stick on a plate with napkin and two notes. Deacon wrote all of our names and even included uncle Russ!)
Brian was so excited. He even pulled a "Santa" and took a couple of bites of the muffin and left a thank you note.
10 days left and two-a-days are over kids!

that is SO cute!
They sure do love their Dad! When I've seen him come home from a hard day at work and they bombard him at the door, I think he probably would just love to crash. But he still plays with them, helps bathe and feed them and pays lots of attention to them. He's a great dad! Hooray for great dads!!
