At Grandma Dawn's and Grandpa Vern's house, we loved to hang in the back yard!
The kids were always taking little "time-out's" to give great big hugs!
A true antique is this high chair from the 1950's. It is tradition to have each grandchild sit and have a little tea party with some sugar water that Grandma Dawn will give them. And, a couple of Lorna Doone's if they are on hand. Scarlett was loving it!
Another tradition we do up here is paint the sidewalk! It is the easiest, funnest way to pass time in the summer.
All you do is fill up a bucket with water, get some paint brushes, and well....paint the sidewalk!
The big, hilly backyard is the funnest playground. Deacon would start at one end, run down the hill...
...and up the other to tackle uncle Andy!
