Our Fifth Stop: THE CAPITOL BUILDING
While being bussed to The Capitol Building, we were able to drive by many "National Department('s) of....." which was really fun to see. We drove by The Smithsonian which, again, was very disappointing that was also not on our schedule. We arrived at the Capitol and the team had their picture taken on the steps in front. Apparently you have to be really special to actually get on the grounds of the Capitol, which we weren't allowed to do. Obviously.
